I can’t get enough of While Heaven Wept or early 80’s Warlord, Manowar, Omen, etc, and epic metal done right is my favorite sub-genre, bar none. But sadly AK’s compositions, from the Demos on, are just simple, dull, and repetitive compared to any of the above bands. The vocalist just doesn’t have what it takes, and that production… oh man! Sorry, but this lover of epic can’t manage one hail.
