Thank you very much for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the read. I hope you get to see the next Ayreon shows as well. ITEC is definitely my favourite album and seeing it performed live was arguably the best day of my life. I think my favourite moments are the opening song Isis and Osiris (seeing all the musicians turn up one by one live on this one is the most surreal thing you’ll ever experience) and the closing with “The Two Gates” and “Another Time, Another Space”.

Never in the background, always focused. It’s the most emotional work of musical art I have ever encountered; and I do not listen to metal much in everyday life. Garden of Emotions and Valley of the Queens reliably make me weep, the warriors fighting get me riled up, the entire journey is a rollercoaster of goosebumps. I can’t believe I missed the concerts. ITEC was the album that got me into Ayreon…and ALL of his work is incredible!!
